There were 15 candidates on the Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA) At-Large primary ballot. The top six moving on to the General Election in November are (in alphabetical order): Adrian (Kealiʻi) Akina; Ikaika Anderson; Kanekoa (Koa) Crabbe; Brickwood M. Galuteria; Keoni Souza; and John Waiheʻe IV.
With only three At-Large seats available, the race between incumbent At-Large Trustee Keoni Souza and candidate Ikaika Anderson will be the race to watch in the upcoming General Election.
Other OHA Election Races
The Maui and Oʻahu trustee races have just two candidates each and will be on the General Election Ballot. The Maui race is between Keʻeaumoku Kapu and Carmen Hulu Lindsey. Both have competed for the Maui seat in prior elections in 2012 and 2018.
The Oʻahu race is between Kalei Akaka and Hinaleimoana (Hina) Wong.
