On behalf of County of Hawaiʻi, Department of Parks and Recreation, ASM Affiliates is preparing a Cultural Impact Assessment to fulfill the requirements of an HRS, Chapter 343 Environmental Assessment being prepared for the Pāpaʻaloa Master Plan and Phase I Development Project. The project is located on 12 acres inclusive of TMK: (3) 3-5-003:032 and a portion of parcel 008, Kaiwilahilahi Ahupuaʻa, North Hilo District, Island of Hawaiʻi.

ASM is seeking kamaʻāina familiar with the area’s cultural resources, customs, and practices. We also seek input regarding strategies to prevent or mitigate impacts on culturally valued resources or traditional customary practices.
