Princess Abigail Campbell Kawānanakoa’s Birthday

Jan. 1, 1882 – Abigail Wahiʻikaʻahuʻula Campbell was born in Honolulu to Abigail Kuaihelani Maipinepine Bright. Her father was James Campbell, one of the wealthiest industrialists in the Kingdom of Hawaiʻi. She married Prince David Laʻamea Kahalepouli Kawānanakoa Piʻikoi, on Jan. 6, 1902 and was bestowed the title Princess Abigail.
