Ke Ali‘i Pauahi (Birthday)

December 19, 1831 – Bernice Pauahi Pākī was born to Abner Kuhoʻoheiheipahu Pākī and Laura Kanaholo Kōnia and named for her aunt, Queen Pauahi. As the last direct descendant and heir to the Kamehameha lands, she endowed some 375,000 acres of land to found the Kamehameha Schools.
